Symbolism and application of the item On the front side of the cross, you can see the traditional crucifixion of Jesus ...Christ. It should be noted that in the Orthodox iconography, Christ is shown not as an exhausted, dying martyr, but as God Almighty, who opens His hands as if trying to embrace the whole world.
