Symbolism and application of the item

This icon pendant with a prayer to the Holy Blessed Matrona ...of Moscow is dedicated to the "Matronushka", as this holy affectionately is called by the Orthodox for her amazing love and help, which she gives to everyone who needs her support. The life of a saint (1885-1952) ran during the most difficult years of our history: wars, revolutions, persecutions of the Church, and ruin of the peasantry ... Many physically healthy people lost their courage. And Matronushka was a disabled one - she was born blind, and at sixteen her legs got paralyzed. But the power of God in weakness is accomplished (2 Kop., 12.9). For pure faith and prayerful compassion for her neighbors, the Lord, at the age of 7, rewarded Matronushka with the sacred gifts of spiritual reasoning, healing, and vision. And people reached out to the girl for help. Until 1925, the blessed Matrona lived in the native village of Sebino of the Tula province and received suffering in her home. But the new government made her move to Moscow, where till the end of her life, hiding from the persecution, she had to live in the flats of other people. And every day, not knowing the rest, she continued to accept people who came to her with their troubles and mental and physical pain. She did not refuse to help anyone and never took anything, but before her death, she promised: "Everyone, everyone, come to me and tell me everything as if I were alive and I will see you, hear and help you." The words of the prayer inscribed on the three beads on behalf of the one who wears them to St. Bl. Matrona of Moscow, ask to comfort the desperate people, to help them.
