Symbolism and application of the item

This is ...a very delicate pectoral ornamental cross. On the front side of the pectoral cross, you can see the Crucifixion of our Lord. The eight-pointed cross stands on a small stony hill which symbolizes mount Golgotha. According to the legend,  Adam, the ancestor of mankind, was buried there.

Above the head of the Lord on the crossbar is the inscription "INZI", which symbolizes the tablet that was nailed to the Cross, with the inscription "Jesus of Nazareth the King of the Jews." By this, the Jews wanted to laugh at Christ, not knowing that they were crucifying the true King of all kings. Having suffered torment on the Cross, the Lord atoned for the sins of people, and, having risen from the dead, destroyed the power of death. Therefore, next to the titles of His holy name "IS XC", the word "NIKA" is often written on the Cross, which means "winner" in Greek.

On the backside of the cross, there are the words of the prayer "Save and protect". It is the oldest and the most popular prayer among believers. This prayer can be said at any time and in any place. This prayer covers the whole human life path, all his joys, and sorrows, and all his search for the Kingdom of God. The prayer is decorated with a floral ornament, symbolizing the heavenly sanctuary. Along the sides of the cross, you can see tiny balls, which symbolize the tears of the holiest Theotokos. This little cross is very comfortable to wear both for women and babies.

Why should you buy this item?

•    It is believed that prayer saves those sincere believers, who are close to it;
•    The words of this prayer are often inscribed on the other attributes of religion: rings, bracelets and etc;
•    Even newly baptized Orthodox believers can say this prayer.
