Symbolism and application of the item

The front side of the pectoral cross is traditionally devoted to the ...Crucifixion of the Lord. The backside is devoted to the Guardian Angel.

It can be seen on the cross the image of the Son of God spreading His arms as if He wishes to embrace the entire world. The Lord's body is not hanging but is solemnly resting on the cross. Crucified and deceased Christ is miraculously alive in the face of death.

Christ died on the cross for the sake of our reconciliation with God. Immortal and Almighty by nature, He became a human being, weak, like all people, subject to diseases and death. The image of God's blessing right hand over the cross symbolizes the sacrifice of God the Father.

God came down from Heaven and made it possible for people to be reconciled with themselves. He converted Golgotha from a place of suffering and death into a source of eternal life for humanity. God was resurrected and death was defeated. Therefore, next to the initials of the name of Christ, the word "НИКА" is written, which means "I overcame", and at the bottom, we can see four letters: "МЛРБ" - "the Place of Scull (execution) should be Eden".

On the backside of the cross, the Guardian Angel is pictured. The angel is holding a sword in his hand in order to fight against the evil spirits. The Guardian Angel becomes a warrior when he has to fight for the human soul.

Guardian Angels, as well as humans, are creatures of individuality, but we do not know their names.  We do not even know the name of our own Guardian Angel.
