Symbolism and application of the item

This is a very nice bracelet. The bracelet is made in the Old Russian style ...and combines silver and black wooden beads. The silver beads are decorated with traditional Russian ornament, which repeats the rhombus motif. The rhombus is an ancient symbol of fertility and land. Small crosses are enclosed in rhombus beads, therefore, in this interpretation, the rhombus is an image of the earth that Jesus Christ saved with His Cross for eternal life. The bracelet is decorated with a clasp depicting the eight-pointed Calvary Cross. The reverse side of the clasp, surrounded by four crosses, is adorned with the main guardian prayer of Russian Orthodoxy - the first line of Psalm 90. This psalm has been read since ancient times by believers in danger, misfortune, or difficult situations. The full text can be found on the Internet. The first lines sound like this: "He that dwelleth in the help of the Highest shall abide under the shelter of the God of heaven. He shall say unto the Lord, Thou art my helper and my refuge; He is my God, and in Him will I hope".
